Overview
With the launch of the new Interactivity module, certain features from previous versions are no longer available for creation. However, existing projects and experiences that contain these elements will remain accessible in read-only mode, allowing you to continue viewing and referencing past work.
What will be missing
The new Interactivity module will not support the following features. While you will not be able to create new instances of these elements, existing projects and experiences containing them will be accessible in read-only mode:
Experiences
All experience types are no longer available for creation. This includes:
- Branching Experiences
- Slide Sync Experiences
- Off-Video Chapter Menu Experiences
- Lesson Experiences
Existing experiences will remain accessible in read-only mode, allowing you to view and reference past work.
Annotations
The following annotation types are no longer available for creation:
- Drawing - Drawing annotations that allowed free-form drawing on videos
- Time-triggered actions - Annotations that triggered actions at specific times
- Lead forms - Lead form annotations within Interactivity projects
Existing projects containing these annotation types will remain accessible in read-only mode.
Accessing read-only content
To access existing projects or experiences that contain read-only elements:
- Login to Video Cloud Studio.
- Open the Interactivity module.
- Navigate to the project or experience you want to view.
- Open the project or experience - it will display in read-only mode.
In read-only mode, you can view all annotations and elements, but you will not be able to edit, modify, or create new instances of the deprecated features.
